This position is based in our Campbell, California offices. This position is on-site, full-time.

What You’ll Do
As an experienced professional in this field, a Sr. Product Manager will leverage that experience to execute activities to develop and maintain the Imperative Care product pipeline, understanding competitive offerings and procedural needs, and identifying and leading opportunities for future products.
  • Develop comprehensive user-needs mappings, ensuring that the problem, desired output, and solution boundaries are defined.  Mentor others on this process.
  • Lead projects including market and physician research for market and product requirements in collaboration with product development engineering across the product lifecycle cycle.  Mentor others on this process.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive downstream marketing projects including product launch management, sales tools and training, product presentations, product/market analysis, forecasting and general sales support.
  • Review information related to customer requirements, market dynamics, regulatory pathways, etc. and develop recommendations for product enhancements and potential new product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, sales force, and R&D staff to assess market needs, recommend data-driven product enhancements and new product developments and participate in design meetings.
  • Analyse voice-of-customer input from end users and sales force to inform changes and prioritization of the product roadmap.
  • Develop the product’s core value proposition.
  • Allocate resources and action items in a timely manner.
  • Support sales workforce by educating and training physicians, and hospital staff on technical matters related to Imperative Care devices.
  • Update management on project status, and critical issues that would affect project completion.
  • Assist in executing activities at relevant scientific and technical meetings and conferences.
  • Ensure product documentation is complete, accurate and timely; handle all forms of correspondence and distribution and implement process improvements.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or a combination of education/training and experience.  Engineering degree preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and marketing tools is required.
  • Extensive experience in the medical device/pharmaceutical fields within product management.
  • Expertise leading and influencing decision-making and action across the organization and external stakeholders, independent of reporting structure.
  • Willingness and ability to mentor others on best practices within product management; assist leadership in process design and improvement.
  • Strong ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and apply analytical skills to accomplish short and long-range projects; capable of anticipating needs and recommending actions with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand technical aspects of products.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the flexibility and adaptability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed; with a conscientious approach to work assignments; thrives in multitasking and fast-paced environments, with ability to shift tasks frequently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills; ability to maintain strong working relationships while dealing appropriately with sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Above average reading, verbal, and written communications skills; with expertise in developing marketing and training materials and presentation for use by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel 30 to 40%.

Salary Range: $163,000 – 179,000 annually

Imperative Care considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal equity, as well as location, market and business considerations when extending an offer.  As part of our total rewards package, Imperative Care offers comprehensive benefits including a 401k plan, health benefits, generous PTO, a parental leave program and emotional health resources.
