What You’ll Do
The Sr. Manager, Marketing will be a key marketing leadership position in the Imperative Care stroke business reporting to the head of stroke marketing. This leader will own the commercial marketing strategy and tactical execution to drive above-market growth for the business. The focus will be on enabling growth through deeper adoption of the current and future Imperative Care products by new and existing customers. Key areas of responsibility will include development and refinement of growth initiatives, sales and marketing tools, customer engagement programs and clinical marketing. The individual will build a team to scale up with the company growth.
  • Provide leadership on product messaging that differentiates products from others in the market. Develop product messaging that conveys the strategic positioning of the brand and drives adoption
  • Create product content such as procedure videos, case studies, animations, videos etc. that will be leveraged through the sales team and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Translate marketing messages and content into sales enablement tools to maximize selling effectiveness and productivity
  • Lead market surveillance and competitive intelligence on competitive product offerings, including features, pricing, messaging, programs etc. Develop insights and keep the sales team and internal stakeholders informed.
  • Lead strategy development and execution of peer to peer training events, including national and local events
  • Help define educational programs for neurointerventional fellows and APP, including training content, presentations, videos and courses
  • Develop strategies to engage key customers, including company visits, innovation initiatives, leadership interactions, local event etc.
  • Support Professional Education initiatives, including physician training, product demonstration and remote procedure proctoring and capture
  • Develop new claims and messaging based on new data and lead the approval process for those claims and messages
  • Collaborate with Clinical Affairs, Sales Training and Marketing on integrating new and existing data and claims into content and effective communications through sales tools, web content, training content etc.
  • Develop a strategic communications plan that anticipates emerging data on Imperative Care products and competitors and plans for press releases, slide updates, field communications and other means to disseminate new data
  • Serve as the central contact for sales and customers on issues and requests related to emerging clinical data.  Keep the sales team and internal stakeholders up to date and fluent in clinical data on Imperative Care products and competitors
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred
  • 8+ years related experience in the medical device/pharmaceutical field, including preferred 5+ years in marketing or sales
  • Neuro experience is preferred
  • People management experience is required
  • Willingness to travel 20-40%
  • Ability to work independently, using good judgment, initiative and analytical abilities, to accomplish short and long-range projects, anticipate likely needs, and recommend actions with minimal direction
  • Ability to influence decision-making and action across the organization, and to influence others independent of reporting structure
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly ascertain technical aspects of product
  • Ability to work as a team member and to be very flexible, adaptable, and to work under pressure

Salary Range - $170,000-190,000 annually
